Specializing in Wildlife and Tribal Portrait Art, Becci's desire to study her subjects in their natural world has lead to adventurous travel in Alaska, Antarctica, The Amazon, Argentina, Costa Rica, China, India, Nepal, Thailand, Borneo, Tanzania, Botswana, Kenya, Zimbabwe, and Namibia among many others. One of Becci's journeys was to Rwanda in search of endangered Mountain Gorilla - the same area where Dian Fossey of Gorillas in the Mist did her research. This experience tracking Mountain Gorilla led to an interview by National Geographic Adventure Magazine as part of an issue on the world's top 25 adventure trips. After ten years of traveling to Africa, Becci shared her extraordinary experiences directly by leading a group on Safari to Botswana & Zambia. Wanting to live and work as close to nature as possible, her home studio in Washington State has been designated by the National Wildlife Federation as a Certified Backyard Wildlife Habitat.

As an artist, Becci's explorations in wild and remote places provide a wealth of information for the creation of her original art. Becci’s dramatic images are made with watercolor, pen & ink, or graphite. Mastering a technique called Pointillism, these originals involve creating an image on paper 'dot by dot'. Becci's pen & ink pointillism pieces have thousands of points and can take hundreds of hours to complete.

A strong advocate for educational programs that explore and strive to preserve wildlife and world cultures, Becci engages and entertains audiences everywhere with dynamic presentations of her travel, art, and wildlife experiences.
